Nottingham – Social Housing Sector
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience) + Fuel Card + Bonus Scheme
This business was founded by a pair of partners five years ago. Within the first two years the turnover was £700k and it has now risen to £3.7m, with continued growth expected in the coming years. The company works in the social housing sector, focusing on kitchens, bathrooms, mould repairs, etc., and subcontracts to large companies such as Lovells, Wates, and Ian Williams.
The business is at a point where it cannot grow further without a dedicated commercial appointment.
You will need to put process and structure in place to help with the business’s cash flow and make the operation smoother. The owners are doing too much at the minute and things are getting missed. Volume of work is high and invoices are smaller, circa £4k.
The Role
- Implement structure and process improvements to support cash flow and operational efficiency.
- Manage document ledgering and payment applications.
- Capture variations and variation processes.
This is a great chance to earn up to £60k with a bonus structure and fuel card. Progression to a Commercial Director role is possible as the company expands.
