Job Description:
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer required in Hereford. Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum. Hours: weekly rotating shift pattern 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00. Full-time permanent contract. Immediate start available for the right candidate.
The Role
- Maintain and repair extrusion and moulding equipment to ensure minimal downtime
- Provide reactive breakdown support across the site
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and mechanical systems
- Support operational teams to maintain output and efficiency
- Ensure health & safety standards are met at all times
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Candidate Requirements
- Multi-skilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical experience
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience working on extrusion and/or moulding machinery (highly desirable)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Able to work effectively within a fast-paced production setting
- Comfortable working in an engineering environment that can be dirty
- Relevant engineering qualifications preferred
- Ability to hit the ground running (training will still be provided)
