Apply for the Graduate Mechanical Design/Project Engineer
Location: Warrington
Job Description:

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting graduate mechanical design engineers. Though not essential, someone with a year or two of industry experience would be more suited for the position. Providing a fast‑paced working environment, fresh challenges every day, intricate design, and an opportunity to realise your ideas and see the results right away. Sonomatic is the perfect place to hone your skills as an innovative engineer and grow to your full potential. Sonomatic is a leading NDT company specialising in the design and development of advanced automated ultrasonic inspection solutions, supporting our worldwide NDT field‑service division. Projects typically range from bespoke ROV/Diver‑deployed automated inspections to topside remotely operated inspections. Our projects are always pushing the boundaries of inspection and robotics, whether operating at 3 000 m in the sea off the shores of Brazil or dealing with the high temperatures at a refinery in the north of the United Kingdom. The working environment is both exciting and satisfying with ample opportunities to learn and progress with a great balance between designing new components on CAD and building/testing the same components within our purpose‑built, state‑of‑the‑art workshop facility. As you gain experience, you will have the rare opportunity to manage projects from initial concept through to subsea deployment.
