Working hours
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09.30 am to 5.30 pm. We currently operate a discretionary hybrid model, with three days in our London office and two working from home.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of HR within a creative and forward‑thinking global leader in illustrated book publishing, you will be an integral part of the team, bridging strategic HR goals with day‑to‑day HR operations. Providing guidance and coaching to key stakeholders, you will manage complex people matters and support organisational change, whilst ensuring first‑class operational delivery.
What you will be involved in
- Foster a healthy workplace culture to drive engagement, retention and innovation.
- Provide expert advice to key stakeholders on organisational policies and systems, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Guide managers on a range of people processes, including performance development and performance improvement to support a culture of high performance.
- Pro‑actively monitor people KPI’s and work with stakeholders to identify trends and develop continuous improvement plans.
- Identify and implement improvements and efficiencies to HR workflows, overseeing the monthly Payroll process.
- Promote an environment of inclusion and belonging through the delivery of DEI initiatives and workforce engagement plans.
- Support talent acquisition strategies and deliver end‑to‑end recruitment and excellent onboarding systems.
- Manage complex employee relations cases and change management processes by providing exemplary advice and guidance to managers.
About you
You will bring proven experience at Senior HR Advisor / HR Manager level and will have a strong HR generalist background, ideally qualified to CIPD Level 7.
