We are seeking a passionate Deputy Head of School to join a specialist Secondary Alternative Provision setting in Thrapston. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to support vulnerable young people, drive high standards across the school, and help create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students can thrive.
- Support the day-to-day leadership and management of the school
- Lead on teaching, learning, behaviour, and student progress
- Support students with SEN, SEMH, and additional needs
- Coach and mentor staff to deliver high-quality education
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing school culture
- Ensure safeguarding and compliance standards are consistently met
- Work closely with families, external agencies, and the wider leadership team
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience within SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision settings
- Strong leadership and behaviour management skills
- Passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable young people
- Resilient, proactive, and adaptable approach
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
