High School SAP Counselor: Prevention & Intervention Leader

Portsmouth School District is looking for a Student Assistance (SAP) Counselor to provide leadership in developing prevention and intervention activities for at-risk students in grades 9-12.

The role requires a licensed clinician in school counseling or social work and includes responsibilities such as screening students for risk factors, implementing counseling strategies, and consulting with staff and parents on restorative plans.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and experience in student assistance counseling.
