GVR Solutions is seeking an experienced and hands‑on Working Foreman with a strong carpentry background to lead and deliver small to medium‑sized projects across London and Essex. This is a key site‑based role for someone who can both manage trades and contribute on the tools when required.

Key Responsibilities Of The Working Foreman

• Oversee and manage day‑to‑day site operations on small projects
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades
• Ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
• Carry out carpentry work when needed (1st and 2nd fix)
• Maintain site health & safety in line with regulations
• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and senior management
• Monitor quality control and resolve on‑site issues proactively

Requirements Of The Working Foreman

• Proven experience as a Working Foreman or Senior Carpenter
• Strong carpentry background (essential)
• Experience in residential and commercial refurbishment projects
• Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
• Ability to run and manage small jobs independently
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Good understanding of construction processes and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
