This fantastic company specialises in the production & supply of fresh produce and works under the UK’s largest fresh produce supplier. They are continuously looking to expand and are offering an exciting opportunity for a multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer with experience in the FMCG/manufacturing/production sectors to join the team on a permanent basis.
This role assists the Operations teams in achieving maximum productivity by minimising downtime through planned & reactive plant maintenance, repairs and improvement works, alongside project‑based installation & continuous improvement works whilst adhering to strict health & safety & food guidelines and maintaining a safe place to work for all employees.
Responsibilities
- Planned & preventative maintenance in an FMCG environment
- Mechanical & electrical works
- Work in accordance with Health and Safety & food standard guidelines
- 4‑week shift rotation (1 weekend in 4)
Qualifications
- Suitably qualified Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer from an FMCG background
- Team player with excellent work ethic & a ‘right first‑time attitude’
- Knowledge of 18th Edition electrical wiring standards, industrial machine control and safety circuit knowledge
- Desire to work for a leading UK company that is keen to continually upskill employees
