Contract Details

Contract Type: Permanent and FTC until 15th August 2027, Full‑Time, 35 hours.

Salary: Starting from £65,913 per annum (London‑weighted) or £57,900 per annum (regional), depending on experience.

Grade: 11.

Reporting Office: London, Stratford or Manchester, Trafford.

Persona: Agile Worker: 20%–40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working).

About the Role

We are looking for experienced programme managers to join our delivery team and help make this transformation a reality.

Responsibilities

  • You will have previously managed large, complex projects or programmes and will be able to lead projects while supporting the wider team.
  • You will have strong stakeholder‑management skills and the tenacity to keep projects well governed, on track, and supported by clear, transparent decision‑making.
  • You will be able to develop and manage projects with a clearly defined scope, deliverables, budget, and business case, taking them from inception through to implementation and helping move L&Q towards its new operating model.
  • You will be able to engage credibly with technology specialists, architects, data professionals, and service designers to translate strategic objectives into practical delivery plans.
  • You’ll have an understanding of how information flows support service outcomes, decision‑making, and change adoption and will be capable of assessing impacts, managing multiple dependencies, and balancing user needs, operational considerations, and technical constraints across complex transformation programmes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Programme Manager, delivering complex projects end‑to‑end.
  • Skills and experience in running large and / or complex projects including establishing project structure, planning, reporting and closure.
  • Experience in business‑case management, budgets, benefits and performance and analysis.
  • Experience with stakeholder management, change management, and communication.
