We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Administrator to join our Stock Management & Operations Support Team based in Sudbury.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in stock control or administration who is looking to build their skills and progress within a stock management or operations environment. You will support the effective management of fuel stock across company-owned assets nationally, as well as selected customer locations, while working closely with a range of internal stakeholders.

As a Stock Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring stock information is accurate, up to date, and communicated effectively, helping to maintain appropriate stock levels in line with operating procedures and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the monitoring and balancing of stock by comparing predicted, live, and actual movements
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of WET stock across company-owned assets and designated customer accounts
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to help prioritise and coordinate deliveries
  • Accurately update and maintain approved ullage reports, including daily reconciliations and general housekeeping
  • Support cost awareness within the department by helping to minimise avoidable costs such as failed deliveries or stock shortages
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate stock levels, avoiding shortages, overfills, losses, or excess stock
  • Cascade relevant stock and replenishment information to stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure correct stock movement and control
  • Send daily paperwork including delivery numbers, tank details, and ullage information
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and site rules when visiting other locations
  • Take responsibility for personal health and safety and remain vigilant for the safety of others in the workplace

Skills and Experience

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a stock control, administration, or similar role is desirable
  • Good organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Confident and motivated, with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A team player with good communication skills
