Production Operative (Mattress Manufacturing)
Location: (Insert Location) Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7am – 6pm (Day Shift) Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Duration: 3 days initially (ongoing weekly review)
About the Role
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join a busy Mattress Production Line. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for someone who enjoys teamwork and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Working as part of a team on the mattress production line, including assembling mattresses and moving pallets
- Carrying out additional duties as required to support smooth production flow
- Following all relevant health and safety procedures when operating machinery or handling products
- Adhering to operational processes and meeting production timelines
- Keeping work areas and the factory floor clean, tidy, and safe
What We're Looking For
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous production or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
