Specialty Doctor – ADHD / General Adult Psychiatry Location: Remote Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Sessional Salary: Sessional Rate Negotiable Depending on Experience Start Date: As soon as possible About the Role We are recruiting a Specialty Doctor in General Adult Psychiatry to support a clients growing Community ADHD Service. Working alongside an experienced consultant specialist team, the successful candidate will play a key role in the assessment, monitoring, and ongoing management of patients with ADHD and other neurodevelopmental disorders within a community-based service. This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor with an interest in neurodevelopmental psychiatry looking to further develop specialist expertise within a supportive multidisciplinary environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct ADHD and neurodevelopmental assessments, reviews, and follow-up clinics Support medication titration, monitoring, and prescribing management Review investigation results including ECGs and blood tests Provide clinical advice and support via the ADHD telephone query service Work collaboratively with GPs, specialist nurses, and wider MDT teams Support clinical governance, audit, and service development activities Maintain accurate clinical documentation using SystmOne and associated systems Contribute to education and support for patients, carers, and healthcare professionals What We’re Looking For Essential Minimum 2 years’ psychiatry experience Strong general adult psychiatry knowledge Interest in ADHD and neurodevelopmental disorders Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working skills Ability to work independently and flexibly across services Computer literacy and understanding of clinical systems Desirable Previous ADHD or neurodevelopmental service experience Experience delivering education or training Experience within community mental health services Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer Flexible working arrangements Opportunity to sub-specialise within ADHD and neurodevelopmental services Supportive consultant-led multidisciplinary team Ongoing professional development opportunities Opportunity to contribute to service innovation and growth41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15…
