The Job

A progressive and forward‑thinking farming business is seeking an experienced Arable Farm Manager to oversee a large‑scale arable operation in Lincolnshire. The role involves managing day‑to‑day operations while driving efficiency, continuous improvement, and sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Full management of arable operations across a large‑scale farm.
• Planning and delivering cropping programmes to maximise yield and quality.
• Managing cultivation, drilling, spraying and harvesting operations.
• Overseeing machinery use, maintenance and investment planning.
• Leading and supporting farm staff and contractors.
• Managing crop inputs including fertiliser, sprays and seed.
• Ensuring compliance with environmental, health & safety and assurance standards.
• Working closely with agronomists and senior management.
• Driving innovation, sustainability and best practice across the business.

The Candidate

• Proven experience in arable farm management.
• Strong technical knowledge of crop production and agronomy.
• Experience operating and managing modern farm machinery.
• Previous team management or supervisory experience.
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and inputs.
• Forward thinking with an interest in sustainable practices.
• PA1/PA2 (essential), BASIS (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence.
