The role is broad and will work in a close-knit team of marketeers reporting into the UK General Manager.

What You’ll Lead

  • Develop and execute UK marketing strategy across all categories, aligned to long‑term sales, profit, and growth goals.
  • Own full P&L management: forecasting, pricing, budget control, profitability, and commercial planning.
  • Analyse brand, category, and consumer trends using Circana/EPOS and other data sources — turning insights into actionable growth plans.
  • Lead new product launches, packaging changes, and brand renovations from concept to execution.
  • Build and optimise media plans with agency partners; oversee social strategy across Facebook, Instagram, and influencer channels.
  • Drive marketing mix excellence and adapt global communication assets for the UK market.
  • Collaborate with international marketing, media, R&D, regulatory, supply chain, finance, and UK sales teams.
  • Manage one direct report and foster a high‑performance, growth‑oriented culture.

What You Bring

  • 6–10 years’ experience in a blue‑chip FMCG / Personal Care or OTC environment, ideally multinational.
  • Strong cross‑functional exposure across Marketing, Sales, or Customer Marketing.
  • Proven ability to turn data into compelling commercial stories and growth strategies.
  • Deep understanding of the UK retail landscape and consumer behaviour.
  • Experience leading agencies and managing complex stakeholder groups.
  • A self‑starter mindset: proactive, analytical, collaborative, and comfortable challenging the status quo.

Core Competencies

  • Drive for Results: You set ambitious goals and deliver with pace and precision.
  • Customer Focus: You understand UK retailers and put consumer needs at the centre.
  • Judgment & Agility: You make sound decisions under pressure and adapt quickly.
  • Innovative Thinking: You connect ideas, challenge norms, and create new solutions.
  • Team Leadership: You collaborate naturally and elevate those around you.

Why This Role Matters

You’ll be the strategic engine behind category growth in the UK — shaping brand equity, driving innovation, and influencing decisions at the highest level. If you thrive in environments where you can own the agenda, move fast, and make a visible impact, this role is built for you.
