YOUR ROLE
The Digital Trust & Security (DT&S) practice focuses on ensuring secure business outcomes for clients by providing Cybersecurity advisory and transformation consulting across security strategy, risk management, human risk, data & identity security, secure intelligent industry, Gen‑AI risk, and security operations modernisation. Our specialists enable clients to evaluate cyber risks, redesign operating models, modernise digital identity capabilities, lead security culture programmes, and transform security and compliance regimes to be efficient, effective, sustainable and resilient.
MANAGING CONSULTANT GRADE
We are looking to grow our diverse team at the Managing Consultant grade with expertise in one of the following domains:
- Security Assurance – Leading delivery of key security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and Cyber Essentials to ensure systems meet industry standards and regulatory obligations.
- Security Architecture – Improving enterprise and application security posture through the assessment, design and implementation of secure architectural patterns aligned with industry standards.
- Generative AI – Enabling secure design and adoption of Gen‑AI for business, IT and security functions in line with the evolving regulatory landscape.
KEY EXPECTATIONS
- Lead projects that transform clients’ Cybersecurity and Architecture capabilities to reduce business and technology risk.
- Provide expertise in strategic, organisational and human aspects of Cybersecurity, influencing board and CxO with top‑down buy‑in.
- Conduct threat modelling, risk management and security overlay approaches through maturity assessments.
- Develop new security strategies to manage emerging risks in Cloud and agile/DevSecOps environments.
- Translate technical domains into business value and deliver quick wins on transformation journeys.
- Lead client conversations to positively influence senior stakeholders toward required outcomes.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to deliver security strategy, governance, testing, IAM, security architecture, privacy and cyber data analytics.
YOUR PROFILE
- Experience in one or more Cybersecurity domains (Security & Risk Management, Security Architecture, Asset Security, Security Engineering, Network Security, IAM, Security Education & Awareness, Assessment & Testing, Operations, Software Development Security).
- Desirable experience: working with SOC teams, OT Security, Security Architecture, Security Op Model Transformation, Cybersecurity Assessments.
- Familiarity with core frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and regulations (NIS2, DORA, FCA, Bank of England).
- Experience securing Gen‑AI or enabling Gen‑AI for security.
- Relevant qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+ preferred.
- Current consulting experience or industry experience with a consulting background.
- Ability to thrive in a matrixed organisation, engaging peers in selling and delivering solutions.
- Proven proposition building and delivery experience.
- Cross‑sector or SME sector experience in Capgemini core sectors.
- Excellent communication and influence skills for senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing and leading delivery in Cybersecurity projects.
- Security clearance SC or above, or eligibility.
