About the company
A market leading business based in the Newryarea are seeking to appoint a Management Accountantreporting to the Group Financial Controller. With the business continuing to grow from strength to strength, this represents an excellent opportunity for a hands-on and ambitious finance professional to further develop their experience within a fast-paced environment, with a clear pathway for progression ahead.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
- Variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting support
- Balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings
- Intercompany reconciliations across group entities
- Assist with year-end audit and statutory reporting
- Analyse profitability and support commercial decision-making
- Support improvements across finance systems, controls and reporting processes
- Work closely with operational and commercial teams across the business
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- QBE Considered – 5+ years experience
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
