Quantity Surveyor

Newry | £40,000 – £50,000

We are hiring for our client for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and well-established construction business delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to gain broad project exposure and develop within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will work closely with operational teams across all stages of project delivery, supporting commercial management on a range of technically challenging projects.

  • The Role

    • Assist with the commercial management of construction projects
    • Monitor project costs and support with valuations and reporting
    • Liaise with site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
    • Support procurement and contract administration processes
    • Ensure projects are delivered within budget and timescales
    • Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation
    • Work collaboratively across project delivery teams

    The Person

    • Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or Construction
    • 3+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying
    • Strong organisational and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
    • Good Microsoft Office and project software skills
    • Understanding of construction processes and health & safety requirements
