About you
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or above
- Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and discreetly
What you’ll do
- Support attendance & absence management, working with managers to reduce absenteeism and support employee wellbeing
- Handle employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with policies and employment legislation
- Manage recruitment and onboarding processes for operational and office roles
- Assist in performance management activities and employee development programmes
- Maintain accurate HR records and support payroll processes when necessary
- Promote engagement, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, legal standards, and support HR compliance activities
