Service Line: Mental Health Adults (Male) High Dependency Rehabilitation Level 2 Contract: Permanent
Cygnet Fountains is a high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for men who have severe and enduring mental illness and who may have been detained under the Mental Health Act. At Cygnet Fountains we have a number of different options to help support individuals to move on. Cygnet Fountains is located in the heart of the community in Blackburn, Lancashire. This service provides a safe and comfortable environment that promotes efficient rehabilitation and recovery. There is a dedicated clinical team who provide multi-disciplinary input including occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatry, and nursing staff. You will be supported by one Band 5 Occupational Therapist, one Occupational Therapy Assistant and 3 Activity Co-ordinators across site.
Occupational Therapy Directorate Under the leadership of our occupational therapy directors we support over 150 Occupational Therapists. Every service line has a clinical lead occupational therapist to lead and develop evidence based practice and agreed occupational therapy pathway. We ensure our occupational therapists have a voice through participating in service model development, utilising the expertise and support of our clinical lead occupational therapists.
