We’re supporting a specialist provider to appoint an experienced Band 7 Lead Occupational Therapist to provide clinical and professional leadership within a women’s mental health service. This senior role is ideal for an OT who is passionate about occupation‑focused practice, service development, and supporting more junior colleagues within a complex clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership for occupational therapy services across the ward(s) Lead on assessment, intervention planning, and outcome measurement Promote and embed occupation‑focused practice within the MDT Provide supervision, mentorship, and professional guidance to OT colleagues Lead on audit, service improvement, and evidence‑based practice Contribute to risk management, governance, and quality assurance processes
Requirements HCPC registered Occupational Therapist Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy Significant post‑qualification experience within mental health services Experience providing clinical supervision and leadership Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, and service development
