Technical Manager A growing food business is looking to appoint a Technical Manager to support technical, quality, and compliance activities across their supply chain. This role will involve working closely with suppliers, growers, and internal teams to ensure products consistently meet customer, legal, and food safety requirements.
The Role Key responsibilities include: Managing technical and quality standards across the supply chain Supporting supplier approval and audit processes Conducting supplier visits and technical reviews Supporting sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives Ensuring retailer and customer compliance standards are maintained Producing technical reports and KPI data Working cross-functionally with operational and commercial teams
About You We are keen to speak with candidates who have: Experience within food manufacturing or fresh produce Strong understanding of food safety and retailer compliance Experience with audits and supplier management Knowledge of standards such as BRCGS and HACCP Strong communication and organisational skills
