We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Bangor, North Wales. The role requires a combination of site visits (UK wide) and office-based work. In this role, you will lead and manage a diverse range of projects, including domestic alterations, extensions, and bespoke commercial structural engineering developments. From conception to completion, you will ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Our offices in Bangor are situated in Parc Menai office park, located in the stunning parkland near the shores of the Menai Strait, which offers ample parking and an electric vehicle charging point. Coordinate with professionals and contractors, manage time for timely project delivery. Work independently on smaller projects or as part of a team on larger schemes. Ensure commercial delivery of projects, meeting deadlines and budgets. Supervise trial hole investigations for refurbishment projects and undertake visual structural inspections. Assist in project management, ensuring commercial delivery, and meeting timescales and budgets.
Ability to produce designs underpinned by strong engineering principles. Proficient in technical design packages such as Tekla, CADS and Tedds. Proficient in AutoCAD would be a bonus. Possess a full driving licence and have access to a car for business use.
