This role within the Adult and Family Learning team will work with colleagues and partners to contribute to the development of family learning and adult learning opportunities within primary schools and community settings. Main duties include organising and delivering the 123 Play family learning numeracy programme within priority communities, and developing community based adult learning pathways. With a strong understanding of community based adult learning, you will have experience of adult education and lifelong learning and of developing and delivering high-quality educational opportunities. An important aspect of the job will include working in effective collaboration with a range of colleagues, partners and networks, both internal and external. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
