As Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance, you’ll support operational excellence and ensure products and processes consistently meet customer and regulatory standards. You’ll work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, HSE, suppliers, and customers to investigate issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement across the site. Reporting the the Quality Manager.
Ensure supplied and manufactured products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and statutory requirements Carry out structured problem solving using 8D, 5 Whys, Pareto analysis, and PPM reporting Monitor supplier quality performance and support supplier improvement activities Drive quality and process improvement initiatives across the business Provide guidance and support on quality standards and best practice Work collaboratively across Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Supply Chain, and HSE teams Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, Information Security, and Data Protection standards.
Experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance within manufacturing or precision engineering Strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Completed mechanical apprenticeship Experience with quality methodologies including 8D, 5 Whys, Pareto, and PPM SAP and Microsoft Office experience Full UK driving licence
