Design and iterate fixturing systems in CAD for 3D printing and CNC• Operate and maintain 3D printers, water jet cutters, laser engravers, and general workshop tools• CAD proficiency — SolidWorks preferred• Basic workshop skills and strong practical ability• 3D printing — design for printing, operating and maintaining printers Bonus skills (not essential)• Python scripting• Takes personal accountability — you own your work, its quality, and what you do when something does not go to plan• Is flexible and broad in their approach — equally comfortable maintaining a printer, drawing up a precision jig, or sitting in a client meeting• There is no engineering technician to hand work on to, so the scope of this role is wide.
