You will join a progressive Family Help Team supporting children and families across the full continuum of need, from early help through to court proceedings. Completing high-quality assessments and care plans Managing Child in Need and Child Protection plans Delivering direct, meaningful work with children and families Building resilience through restorative and strengths-based practice Working collaboratively with education, health, police and community partners Qualified Social Worker (Degree in Social Work or equivalent) Registered with Social Work England (SWE) Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience within English Local Authorities Strong experience within statutory children’s services Confident managing complex safeguarding and court work A resilient, compassionate and child-centred approach Ability to travel across Dorset as required
