Family Help Social Worker – Dorset MYN is currently recruiting for experienced and passionate Family Help Social Workers to join high-performing Children’s Services teams in Weymouth in Dorset. This is an exciting opportunity to join an Outstanding Ofsted-rated local authority at the forefront of national reform, helping shape the future of family support through innovative, relationship-based practice. You will join a progressive Family Help Team supporting children and families across the full continuum of need, from early help through to court proceedings. Completing high-quality assessments and care plans Managing Child in Need and Child Protection plans Delivering direct, meaningful work with children and families Building resilience through restorative and strengths-based practice Working collaboratively with education, health, police and community partners Qualified Social Worker (Degree in Social Work or equivalent) Registered with Social Work England (SWE) Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience within English Local Authorities Strong experience within statutory children’s services Confident managing complex safeguarding and court work A resilient, compassionate and child-centred approach Ability to travel across Dorset as required
