North West / Hybrid Contract Type: Permanent or Contract (Outside IR35) – Full Time
You’ll be delivering high-quality civil engineering designs across the regulated water industry, playing a key role in producing safe, compliant, and efficient solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and support the development of CAD technicians while contributing to both outline and detailed design stages.
Producing civil design deliverables to safety, quality, and regulatory standards✔ Preparing calculations, drawings, reports, specifications, and risk assessments✔ Mentoring and directing CAD technicians✔ Supporting project planning, design estimates, and design reviews✔ Attending and presenting at design and project meetings
5–10+ years’ experience within the regulated water industry Experience delivering water sector designs (clean water and/or wastewater) Strong IT and engineering drawing skills Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and design standards
