About the Role We are working with local Practice to recruit a General Practitioner (GP) to support their team on a locum basis, working Tuesday, Thursday, with optional Fridays available if desired. This is a great opportunity to join a well-organised and supportive practice, offering a manageable workload and strong administrative systems to support clinical care.
Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality primary care consultations (face-to-face and/or telephone) Manage a routine and acute patient caseload Provide safe and effective clinical decision-making and patient management Complete clinical documentation in line with practice and NHS standards Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
Practice Overview Average list size of approximately 6,500 patients Standard 15-minute appointments Heidi transcription software in place to support documentation Automated lab reporting systems Docman workflow system with typically 7–10 letters per day On-site parking available for staff
