For the UK market we are looking for an AREA SALES MANAGER – REFINISH COATINGS – NORTH OF ENGLAND

Job scope:

The new appointment will have the main focus of generating new revenue for the company, mainly through the acquisition of new customers, but also through the increasing the loyalty of the current customer portfolio. Collaborating in developing sales plans and improving sales processes, in conjunction with Sales Management, while ensuring the implementation of the sales policies in place will also be a key part of the role. The candidate will have a particular focus on business development, via both Trade distribution and the appropriate B2B opportunities. He/she will have to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the structure and needs of the UK market and act as a liaison in the communication between customers and internal teams.

Main tasks:

  • Contributes to increasing sales volumes, both by consolidating existing customers and by exploring and developing business within the bodyshop network. Be able to consider a strategic and commercial understanding of the customers ensuring a value proposition is always achieved.
  • Builds relationships within the distribution and end user framework to establish a long-term working relationship. Provides structured high-value presentations of Lechler value propositions, products and services to all parties. Make recommendations of the best practices within a bodyshop environment using the Lechler portfolio to promote efficient and sustainable processes for the future.
  • Has a good general knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Prepares Sales Forecasts based on structured analysis from internal and external sources.Contributes to the after-sales process. Prepares regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Systematically registers and analyses activities through CRM tools used within the business.

Sales Area: North of England

Prerequisites:

  • Experience and knowledge of the Uk Refinish Market
  • Commercial experience
  • English fluent, other languages are a plus

Salary range:

Base salary £50,000 – £60,000 per annum + performance-related bonus
