MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading business within the FMCG sector on the search for a Senior National Account Manager – Retail & Retail Café. This is a 6-month fixed term contract opportunity based in Greater London.

This is a senior commercial role responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of key retail and retail café accounts. The successful candidate will drive strategic customer partnerships, deliver sustainable category growth, and play a key role in shaping future commercial strategy across the channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver the full P&L for a portfolio of national retail accounts, ensuring delivery of annual targets and contribution to wider strategic objectives.
  • Develop and execute Joint Business Plans aligned to customer and business priorities across product, pricing, promotion, and placement.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market insight, customer analysis, and category trends.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and promotional planning with senior customer stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Category.
  • Drive continuous improvement across account management processes and ways of working.
  • Represent the business at key customer meetings and industry events.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in National Account Management within FMCG.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&Ls and delivering growth.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn insight into actionable strategy.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and solutions-focused.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience within beverages, foodservice, or adjacent categories would be advantageous.
