The role of Field Service Engineer is:


  • To provide effective and technically competent breakdown and preventative maintenance services to products and systems at a variety of customer sites.
  • Servicing pressure washers and floor care machines & industrial cleaning machines.
  • The Field Service Engineer will identify and communicate to customers, solutions and problems they encounter with the performance of their equipment such as repair and maintenance.
  • To identify changes to individual customer contracts in terms of equipment covered, customer contact information and site requirements and feedback of such information.
  • To ensure that any customer reports are completed professionally, and the outcome and recommendations of any visit.
  • Provide customer with advice to ensure they are maximizing the potential of their machines.

The Candidate for the Field Service Engineer


  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer (Electro mechanical or electrical or mechanical).
  • Experience servicing equipment such as FLT Forklift Trucks /diesel Engines, Vehicle Electrics, industrial machines, municipal equipment, plant hire, capital equipment, pressure washers, hydraulics, pneumatics, heavy automotive, light automotive, cleaning machines, Trucks, horticultural / agricultural machinery material handing MHE, White Goods etc are of interest.


The Package on offer for the Field Service Engineer


  • Up to £43,000
  • Commission paid monthly 5% of sales
  • Monday to Friday 40 hrs per week
  • Overtime available at time and a half / flexible
  • Fully expensed company vehicle van
  • 25 days annual leave plus stats
  • Company Contribution Pension 4% employee 6% employer
  • DOS
  • Personal Development Plan – accreditations
