As we operate Monday to Saturday from 8:00am to 8:00pm, flexible working arrangements, part-time roles, and job share opportunities are available.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerforming venepuncture and blood collection safely and efficientlyEnsuring patient comfort and delivering excellent patient care throughout proceduresCorrectly labelling, handling, and processing samplesMaintaining accurate patient records and documentationAdhering to infection prevention, health & safety, and clinical governance proceduresPreparing clinical rooms and maintaining cleanliness and stock levelsSupporting clinicians and wider healthcare staff where requiredManaging patient appointments and maintaining professionalism at all timesRequirementsPrevious phlebotomy experience essentialRecognised phlebotomy training/certification preferredExcellent communication and patient care skillsAbility to work confidently with patients of all agesStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsProfessional, calm, and compassionate mannerAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexible availability across clinic opening hours
Desirable SkillsExperience within a private healthcare or GP settingReception or administrative experience advantageousKnowledge of clinical systems and patient management software
