Associate – Employment Law (3-4 years of Employment litigation experience)

Location: Hybrid (Fully Remote or Office-Based in Bristol or South Wales)

Reed Legal are delighted to be representing our client, a leading and forward‑thinking organisation with a highly regarded Employment Team, in their search for an Associate to join their growing department.

About the Team

Our client’s Employment Team is a large, supportive, and collaborative department of over 40 legal professionals ranging from Paralegals to Senior Associates. They pride themselves on offering a positive working culture, strong supervision, and clear internal progression through a dedicated career pathway programme. The Work

The Employment department handles the full spectrum of employment law matters, with a strong focus on litigation alongside some advisory work for both employers and employees. Daily caseloads typically include:

  • Unfair dismissal
  • Discrimination
  • Whistleblowing
  • HR advisory work (contracts, employee handbooks, general HR guidance)
  • Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements
  • Occasional advocacy where appropriate

You will gain substantial hands‑on responsibility across a wide variety of claims, with a strong emphasis on development, autonomy, and becoming an expert in employment litigation and negotiation.

About You

We welcome applications from candidates with experience in employment litigation who can demonstrate:

  • Solid working knowledge of employment law and procedure
  • Confidence managing your own caseload
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • 3-4 years of Employment litigation experience
