Technical Accounting Manager – Initial 6–9 month contract

London/ Hybrid (3-4 days on site)

£800-£1,000 per day (Inside IR35)

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Accounting Manager to support a major ongoing project, focusing on complex accounting and policy alignment.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical accounting support on revenue recognition (IFRS 15 & ASC 606)
• Assess complex commercial arrangements and new product accounting treatment
• Draft technical papers and support audit discussions
• Partner with cross-functional teams across Finance, Legal, and Operations
• Support wider technical areas (e.g. IFRS 16, provisions, balance sheet items)

Ideal background:

• Big 4 technical accounting advisory experience
• Strong IFRS & US GAAP knowledge
• Experience with complex revenue recognition
• ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified
• Exposure to tech, marketplace, or e-commerce businesses preferred
