Commercial Contracts Lawyer 12 month FTC

Our client a leading UK Financial Services Provider is seeking a Commercial Lawyer for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract

The role will deal with commercial contracts including drafting and negotiation of agreements and documents with Third party vendors and suppliers

Key Responsibilities:

• As the firm’s Contract Lawyer key point of contract to provide advice to the business
• Evaluation of new business partnerships with vendors and subcontractors
• Advise on new service agreements
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial legal agreements : templates, contracts, side letters, non-disclosure, consulting, service, agency and distribution agreements, IT contracts, outsourcing agreements, general terms and conditions, data protection, IP and commercial due diligence including SaaS
• Review and negotiate supplier and customer contracts
• Advise management to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Ensure consistency of contract terms with company policies and strategy
• Ongoing monitoring of best practices to enhance contracts review processes
• This is a conduct Rules role under the SMCR regime.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified lawyer
• Broad experience of Commercial Contracts and 3 rd party agreements
• .Experience of tenders and supply chain management
• Financial Services experience a plus
