This is a genuinely high-impact leadership role overseeing a multi-site commercial property portfolio across the Midlands, including assets across Birmingham, Bristol and the M4 corridor. You’ll take ownership of a well-established region, leading a team of Facilities Managers across a mix of office and mixed-use buildings, while working closely with senior leadership to elevate standards, improve performance and shape the long-term FM strategy.
The Role
- Lead FM service delivery across a regional portfolio, including oversight of multiple commercial assets (e.g. multi-let office buildings and mixed-use schemes), ensuring consistent standards across sites such as large city centre developments and out-of-town business parks
- Directly manage a team of 6+ Facilities and Senior Facilities Managers (including sites similar to large urban commercial buildings and specialist assets), driving performance, developing capability and embedding a high-performing culture
- Act as the key client escalation point, managing stakeholder relationships and navigating challenging conversations where required, while maintaining strong, long-term partnerships across the portfolio
- Take ownership of operational and financial performance, including service charge budgets, contractor oversight, site audits and driving continuous improvement across compliance, H&S and service delivery
Why Join
- A true step into senior leadership – you’ll have real influence across a regional portfolio, working closely with senior stakeholders and playing a key role in shaping FM strategy
- The opportunity to lead and develop an established team, with a strong focus on people leadership, succession planning and improving performance across multiple sites
- Exposure to ESG and sustainability initiatives, with the chance to drive tangible improvements such as energy efficiencies and environmental performance across a varied portfolio
What You’ll Need
- Strong experience in commercial Facilities Management, ideally managing multi-site or regional portfolios within office or mixed-use environments
- Proven leadership capability – experience managing remote or dispersed teams, driving performance and handling both high-performing and underperforming individuals
- IOSH essential, NEBOSH preferred
