Personal Injury Paralegal – Catastrophic Injury

Manchester | Hybrid Working | £25,000–£27,000 DOE

A specialist serious injury firm in Manchester is looking to recruit a Paralegal to join its growing catastrophic injury team.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on complex, high-value personal injury claims alongside highly experienced practitioners in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Snapshot of the work

The team acts on a broad range of serious and life-changing injury matters, including:

• Brain and spinal injury claims

• Amputation and fatal accident cases

• Complex multi-track litigation

• High-value personal injury matters, up to and beyond £1m

You will play an active role supporting solicitors across all stages of litigation, with responsibilities including:

• Drafting witness statements and court documents

• Reviewing medical evidence and case documentation

• Assisting with liability and quantum investigations

• Attending mediations, settlement meetings and conferences with counsel and experts

• Supporting on high-profile and technically challenging claims

Solid personal injury experience wanted

The firm is keen to speak with candidates who have experience in personal injury or litigation, including backgrounds such as:

• RTA

• EL/PL

• Occupiers’ liability

• Industrial disease

• Clinical negligence

You will ideally have:

• Strong drafting and organisational skills

• A proactive and motivated approach

• The ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team

• A genuine interest in serious injury litigation
