What you’ll actually be doing
- Lead on habitat & species surveys across diverse projects (renewables, ports, infrastructure, sustainable development)
- Deliver high-quality ecological reports & mitigation design that shape outcomes for clients and communities
- Take ownership of small–medium projects & play a key role in major schemes across Scotland
- Influence stakeholders, regulators, contractors & partners to deliver better environmental results
- Mentor junior colleagues & grow your own leadership profile
We’re looking for
- Relevant degree + proven consultancy experience (4+ yrs ideally)
- Strong knowledge of UK ecology legislation & survey techniques (bats / mammals / GCN / botany all welcome)
- Experience with HRA, EcIA, EIA chapters
- Client-facing confidence + clear, persuasive report writing
- Desire to step into a role where your expertise is listened to
