Project Manager – Engineering / Manufacturing

A Project Manager opportunity in an expanding company based in Hampshire. The Project Manager would deliver a range of projects within Engineering, Technology and Ops managing the full project cycle from post sales through to project implementation.
The company have customers globally and offer scope to progress within the Project and Operations functions. Previous Project Management experience within an engineering environment is essential.
The role is based on the south coast, commutable from Southampton, Portsmouth, Fareham areas.
The main responsibilities of the role will be:
- Work with varied internal teams to plan and deliver a range of projects for customers across the UK and globally.
- Regularly providing reports and updates to both customers and internal stakeholders
- Research and utilise a range of solutions and technologies to overcome business challenges
- Manage 3rd parties and vendor relationship as required
Essential skills
- 2 years+ Project Management experience
- Experience in engineering / mechanical engineering, or manufacturing environments
- Confident with the full Microsoft software package.
- Ability to communicate effectively and manage expectations at all levels
- Relevant Project Manager certifications, Prince2 , PMP or similar are desirable
The team are mostly office based so candidates must be willing to commute to their offices.
