Inspired Global Cuisine are a frozen ready meal manufacturer based in Gorton, East Manchester. We are an ambitious company who have grown significantly over the last 2 years, now producing over 1million meals a week and have plans to continue to grow. Which includes a re-location to a brand new 369 thousand square foot site in Chadderton, Oldham in May 2026 where we plan to double our volume over the next few years.

About the role

Providing the link between the product development kitchen and the production line with responsibility for ensuring that new products make a smooth transition from trial and testing stages to full production.

Ensuring trial production runs take place and outcomes are communicated to relevant people whilst identifying any critical issues, making recommendations for improvements and measuring yields to make sure everything complies with quality, safety and customer expectations. Supporting the wider Process Development team with buying and trialling new processing equipment for product launches or within improvements for current processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the scale-up of new products from New Product Development (NPD) through to successful production launch, ensuring that product consistency is achieved throughout the entire process
  • To ensure all work meets in-house and customer standards for quality and safety
  • Scheduling and managing production line trials and revaluations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with NPD, Production and other colleagues involved with development
  • Understanding company production processes and flagging up any potential problems to NPD at early development stages
  • Facilitating customer visits during production trials
  • Developing practical schedules for product launch
  • Liaising with purchasing colleagues to ensure that all incoming stock for initial production runs is in place
  • Conducting ongoing investigations into production processes and making recommendations for improvements if necessary
  • Ensuring that operating procedures and specifications are written correctly for each new product and available to relevant staff
  • Supporting initial production runs and being available to trouble shoot and provide expert advice if necessary
  • To carry out any reasonable request of your line manager in order to meet the needs of the business

  • Food-related qualification
  • Food manufacturing experience
