Client Manager

£30,000 Basic + £50,000 OTE (Uncapped)

Hybrid – 2/3 Days in Office (Altrincham)

A growing business in the contractor and payroll space, looking for a confident, people-focused Client Relationship Manager to join its expanding team in South Manchester. This is an opportunity to step into a warm portfolio of established agency accounts and play a key role in strengthening client partnerships, driving growth, and becoming the go-to contact for your clients.

This role is ideal for somebody who enjoys the social and relationship-driven side of business development – someone who values conversations, networking, face-to-face meetings, and creating long-term partnerships over transactional selling.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own accounts, build genuine rapport with clients, and represent the business at meetings, lunches, coffees, and events. If you’re naturally personable, commercially aware, and enjoy being out in front of clients, this is a role where your people skills will genuinely set you apart.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and developing a warm portfolio of existing agency accounts
  • Building strong relationships with consultants and key decision-makers
  • Becoming a trusted contact for clients through regular communication and support
  • Attending client meetings, lunches, networking events, and hospitality outings
  • Identifying opportunities to grow accounts through upselling and cross-selling
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver an excellent client experience
  • Keeping CRM records up to date and tracking account activity

What They’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Previous experience in sales, account management, recruitment, or other client-facing roles
  • A confident, outgoing, and proactive personality
  • Someone who enjoys meeting people and building trust naturally
  • Commercial awareness and motivation to grow accounts
  • Comfortable working towards KPIs and activity targets
  • Full UK driving licence
