Job Description:

Senior Business Development Manager – Cyber & AI Risk London / South-East | Hybrid £65,000 basic + £60,000 OTE | Uncapped Commission

The Opportunity

Our client is a specialist Cyber and AI Risk consultancy, part of a PE-backed group, and growing fast. With a team of around 20 experts delivering across GRC and security services, this is a pivotal hire at exactly the right moment.

They are looking for a Senior BDM who can own and grow a portfolio of upper mid-market and enterprise clients across the UK, driving meaningful deals in the £20k–£150k range. You’ll work across a full services mix: vCISO retainers, ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 readiness, AI risk and governance, penetration testing, Red Teaming, and assumed breach exercises.

This isn’t a role for someone who wants to manage warm accounts. They need a genuine hunter — someone who can self-source pipeline, build C-suite relationships, and close complex multi-stakeholder deals.

What You’ll Do

→ Build and execute a sector plan targeting upper mid-market and enterprise clients

→ Develop multi-year, high-value engagements across GRC and security services

→ Influence C-suite stakeholders and lead commercial conversations with confidence

→ Partner with leadership, marketing, and technical teams on go-to-market strategy

→ Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and manage deals from origination to contract

→ Represent the business at industry events and contribute market intelligence internally

What We’re Looking For

✔ Direct, quota-carrying experience selling GRC consulting — ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, NIS2 or similar

✔ Proven track record in security testing sales: pen testing, Red Teaming, or vulnerability assessment

✔ A credible mix of self-sourced and company-supplied pipeline

✔ Gravitas and confidence in front of C-suite audiences

✔ Comfortable in a small, agile consultancy — you bring ideas and make them happen

✔ Solid technical understanding of cyber security

✔ Knowledge of the emerging AI regulatory landscape (EU AI Act, ISO 42001)

✔ Based in London or the South-East, willing to travel in region

Why This Role?

Work on cutting-edge Cyber and AI risk engagements

Direct influence on strategy in a growing, PE-backed consultancy

Genuine career progression — this role scales with the business

Flexible hybrid working
