Clinical Negligence Solicitor | 1+ PQE | £49,000 – £68,000 | Associate / Senior Associate

Fully Remote / Hybrid Options | Roles Across England & Wales

High-quality defendant work. Genuine flexibility. Multiple opportunities with leading firms

If you’re a Clinical Negligence Solicitor looking to step into better-quality work without sacrificing flexibility, we’re currently working on a number of standout opportunities with top-tier healthcare teams across England & Wales.

These roles offer the chance to handle complex, high-value litigation—often for NHS Resolution and other healthcare organisations —while benefiting from fully remote or highly flexible working arrangements.

The opportunities

We’re advising several well-regarded firms that are actively growing their healthcare teams.

Opportunities are available at Associate and Senior Associate level (1+ PQE), with options to suit different preferences:

  • Fully remote roles (no requirement to attend an office)
  • Hybrid and office-based roles across multiple UK locations
  • Teams with strong reputations in defendant clinical negligence work
  • Clear, structured progression pathways (including fast-track routes in some teams)

The work

You’ll handle a broad and often complex caseload of defendant clinical negligence matters, including:

  • High-value and multi-track claims
  • Obstetric and neonatal injury cases
  • Surgical error and serious injury claims
  • Sensitive, high-profile litigation involving public healthcare bodies

Depending on the team, you’ll also gain exposure to:

  • Direct client contact with NHS and insurer clients
  • Strategic input on complex cases
  • Mentoring or supervising junior lawyers (at more senior levels)

About you

  • Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with 1+ years’ PQE
  • Experience in clinical negligence (defendant preferred, but strong claimant lawyers looking to switch are encouraged to apply)
  • Confident managing files and working within structured client frameworks/KPIs
  • Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment
