Job Description:

Client Executive – Insurance – Care & Social Welfare

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing, independent insurance brokerage with a strong reputation for client service, specialist expertise, and a collaborative culture.

With a nationwide client base, the business continues to expand within niche sectors — particularly Care & Social Welfare, supporting a diverse portfolio of care providers, charities, and social organisations.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Client Executive to join a well-established Care & Social Welfare team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role with an established and well-maintained book of business worth approximately £190,000 in income, providing a strong foundation from day one.

You will be responsible for managing, retaining, and developing this portfolio, while also identifying opportunities for growth across both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, independent insurance advice and exceptional client service
  • Manage and develop an inherited portfolio of Care & Social Welfare clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal teams
  • Negotiate with insurers to secure comprehensive cover and competitive premiums
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities with marketing support
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, market conditions, and sector trends
  • Work collaboratively with Client Advisors, Claims teams, and wider colleagues
  • Monitor performance against targets and contribute to overall team success

About You

  • Proven experience within the insurance sector (essential)
  • Strong technical knowledge and confidence working with insurers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow client relationships
  • Experience in a client-facing, revenue-generating role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Target-driven with a proactive, commercial mindset
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Desirable

  • Experience within Care, Social Welfare, or similar regulated sectors
  • CII qualifications (or working towards)
  • Familiarity with Acturis
  • Business or finance-related qualifications

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to join a business that genuinely values its people, encourages collaboration, and is investing in growth within a specialist sector. With a strong existing portfolio and clear opportunity to develop further, the role offers both stability and progression.
