Town Planner Opportunity | North West

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to join a growing and forward-thinking team based in the North West. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, helping clients navigate the planning process from initial concept through to planning consent.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality development schemes across a range of sectors, working closely with clients, consultants, local authorities, and stakeholders to create sustainable and successful outcomes.

This position would suit someone who is passionate about planning, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a collaborative environment where no two projects are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing planning applications and appeals

• Supporting development projects from conception to consent

• Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders

• Preparing planning statements and reports

• Navigating planning policy and regulations

• Contributing to the delivery of sustainable and commercially successful schemes

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience within town planning or development planning

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• A proactive and solutions-focused approach

• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively

• RTPI accredited or working towards chartership is desirable
