Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join one of our Manufacturing clients in Selby.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing

Location: Selby

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm. (plus 1 in 8 on call)

Salary: £40,000 – £43,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned, predictive, and reactive mechanical maintenance
• Perform preventative maintenance inspection (PM), diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including pumps, centrifuges, screw conveyors, gearboxes, milling equipment, pulleys, shafts, bearing and belts.
• Carry out fault diagnosis and rectification solutions.
• Mechanical installation and commissioning of new and repaired machinery and equipment.
• Carry out all work safely, in accordance with site safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Maintenance as a minimum
• Proven experience in an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing environments (FMCG preferable)
• Experience in fabrication and welding
