Location: Cornwall

Salary: £45,000 – £47,000 + 10% Bonus + £8,000 Relocation Package

Due to continued growth and investment, the company is looking to appoint a hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineer to support and drive manufacturing performance across the site.

The Role:

As Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations, driving process improvements, and delivering engineering solutions across the production environment.

This is a highly practical role suited to an engineer who enjoys being on the shop floor, working closely with production teams, troubleshooting issues, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support manufacturing operations through hands-on engineering and process improvement activities
  • Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes, productivity, efficiency, and quality
  • Work closely with production teams to resolve technical and process-related issues
  • Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the site
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), process validation, and production readiness activities
  • Analyse manufacturing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with equipment optimisation, tooling improvements, and process standardisation
  • Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities
  • Ensure engineering activities are completed in line with safety and quality standards

About You:

We are looking for a proactive and practical engineer with strong manufacturing experience and a genuine passion for process improvement and operational engineering.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Production Engineer, or similar role
  • Strong hands-on engineering experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience supporting shop floor operations and driving process improvements
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both engineering and production teams
  • Mechanical or manufacturing engineering qualification would be advantageous
