The Role
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing the distribution of technical documents, and ensuring compliance with company and client procedures. You will act as a central point of contact for document control processes, supporting project teams in delivering efficient and well-organised construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control all project-related documents from design through to completion
- Ensure documentation is accurate, up to date, and distributed to the relevant stakeholders
- Maintain document management systems, ensuring compliance with company and client standards
- Support project teams with document queries and provide training where required
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth document workflows
- Monitor document progress and produce regular reports for management
About You
- Proven experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of document control systems and platforms (e.g., Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite, or similar)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
