Job Description:

The Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for generating and developing sales for the company’s portfolio of specialist access equipment for the rail and aviation markets across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities across target sectors
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts
  • Conduct customer visits and build strong relationships
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations and tenders
  • Respond to sales enquiries and customer requirements
  • Support exhibitions, product demonstrations, and presentations
  • Maintain accurate CRM and sales reporting information
  • Liaise with engineering and production teams on customer projects
  • Support the achievement of sales and profit targets

About You

  • Proven experience in technical sales or business development
  • Background within engineering, manufacturing, aviation, rail, or industrial sectors
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing customer visits and presentations
  • Commercially driven with the ability to identify opportunities
  • Self-motivated and organised with good reporting skills
