Plater / Fabricator

LOCATION: Aberdeen

JOB TYPE: Permanent, Full-time

Role Overview:

TEXO Recruitment is working with our client to appoint an experienced Fabricator/Plater to join their Fabrication department. The role will focus on the preparation and fabrication of materials, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction across in-house, site, and offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret in-house and client engineering drawings accurately
• Cut and shape materials using Press Brake, Bending Rolls, Bandsaws, Hand Burner, and Grinder
• Carry out tack welding of fit-ups
• Ensure diligent upkeep of materials traceability in line with Quality Assurance standards
• Work across offshore, site, and in-house environments as required
• Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring personal, team, and environmental safety at all times
• Ensure all work meets client requirements and specifications

Required Skills & Experience:

Essential

• Time-served and experienced Fabricator/Plater
• Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Experience in Pressure Vessels
• Pipefitting experience
• Experience working with a wide range of plate/sections and materials (ferrous & non-ferrous)
